Curiosamente, también se ha utilizado la imagen de Venus como «la estrella de la mañana o the morning star” para representar a Lucifer, el ángel caído. Esta dualidad cósmica refleja la tensión teológica entre el bien y el mal, la luz y las tinieblas, y cómo ambas fuerzas pueden ser representadas por la misma imagen celestial.
