KARMA: La ley de causa y efecto
Desde que las religiones y la espiritualidad oriental se introdujeron en la cultura occidental, se comenzó a utilizar el término sánscrito “karma”. Al día de hoy, aquí en occidente se utiliza la palabra karma con total soltura para describir cualquier situación que acontece de manera drástica y repetitiva, como tirándole la culpa a alguien o a esa palabra llamada Karma, y que la asociamos a algo que nos molesta o que se repite a menudo en nuestra vida. Lo que en verdad pienso es que, nada más alejado de la realidad.
¿Pero qué es en verdad el karma?
La palabra karma significa “acción”, y esta se refiere a nuestras acciones físicas, mentales y energéticas. La Ley del Karma es una interpretación energética de la Ley de Causa y Efecto, y asegura que cada individuo vive las consecuencias de sus propios actos, sería el equivalente a la ley de Newton, que formula que cada acción conlleva una reacción proporcional. Así, tanto en la vida como en la física, estamos regidos por una relación llamada causa-efecto.
Las memorias del alma
El karma son memorias que se encuentran grabadas en nuestro subconsciente, al igual que un software instalado en un ordenador, hace que este tenga diferentes funciones y maneras de operar. A ese software nosotros mismos lo fuimos grabando de manera inconsciente a lo largo de nuestra vida, con acciones que fuimos realizando previamente, incluso en miles de vidas pasadas, acciones físicas, mentales y energéticas, y dado que vivimos en un universo cíclico y repetitivo, estos patrones se van a repetir una y otra vez en cada ámbito de nuestra vida, parejas, trabajo, familia, etc.
Es una clara referencia a que conocer nuestra memoria de origen y nuestros patrones inconscientes nos va a ayudar a orientar nuestra vida, nuestra manera de ser, y a transitar cada suceso que se nos plantea, haciendo uso consciente de nuestro libre albedrío.
Pero karma no es predestinación ni determina un destino fijo, ya que el ser humano actúa con su libre albedrío, creando su propio destino. En el universo no existe la casualidad, pues está regido por leyes que están firmemente estipuladas. “Es necesario que exista una causa o una circunstancia para que se genere un fenómeno.

Al estar conscientes de ellas podremos actuar de forma que nos contribuya a nuestro bienestar y plenitud.
En fin, me quedo con una frase de Carl Jung, cuando menciona «Hasta que lo inconsciente no se haga consciente, el subconsciente seguirá dirigiendo tu vida y tú le llamarás destino».
